How we started
My name is Anup Bajracharya, a native of Nepal. I came to US on 2008 to pursue further education and American Dream. My partner Sudeep Khatiwada is also a native of NepaI. We both are the graduates of San Francisco State University. We both grew up eating delicious and unique foods cooked by our parents. After coming to US I really missed home and Nepalese cuisine. I looked online for Nepali food tutorials but there were very few. There were a lot of Nepalese living abroad looking for Nepali food recipes so I started my own YouTube channel “ANUP KITCHEN” to help other Nepalese cook at home. We both moved to Bay Area on 2012 for better life opportunities. After coming here We found few Nepalese restaurants but they were serving very limited Authentic Nepalese food. Then we thought We should start our own business. We both had similar idea and vision of opening a Nepalese food truck to bring delicious and healthy nepalese food to Bay Area. After graduating from SF State, I did my Intern at Hotel Nikko SF. There I saw a food truck operated by Hotel Nikko. Thats when I realized it was meant to happen. I Interned and then later worked in the Truck “Anzu To You” for about 6 months and grabbed all the necessary ideas that was needed to start a food Truck. From the start of the 2017, we were on the road to start MOMOLICIOUS.
